Hi there

Does anyone know where I may be able to get a set of spike feet for my 8000 speakers, as the carpet hat they are going to be stood on makes them lean slightly.

Also I am trying to find out where I can buy the black cable covers that original came with the speakers.

Regards

Hi there,

Welcome to Beoworld! Your best bet might be to contact your local B&O dealer directly as I would imagine these parts are still available,

I rang Lifestyle and they passed me onto a supplier whose name I forget I'm afraid, but sounds like they supply the BO dealers so as above best to phone your dealer (plus they will take your details and you'll get nice emails from them from time to time :-)

Duplicate post apologies (although oddly enough I had a message to say the forum had been configured not to allow duplicate posts, doesn't look like thats the case)

The black cable covers you can get from Steve @ Sounds Heavenly in the U.K. If you're in the US email me, I'll give you the phone number of a cable company here that carry's these cable covers in all different diameters, they also offer fast shipping. FYI-I believe Sounds Heavenly refers to these cable covers as "Tidy Cable"covers.

@Joe

I take it you are thinking of braided cable sleeves? I think Turn007 is looking for the original rubber tubes that were specially designed for and supplied with the BL8000s.

@Turn007

As already suggested, try asking your local dealer, or keep an eye on eBay. Smile

Hi Joe and Dennis,

Yes, I stock the braided cable sleeves in a range of colours and sizes, as seen here:-

I did look into stocking the original Beolab 8000 rubber tubes, but I found them to be unpopular due to their bulk.  What do you think - could this type ofrubber tube be a popular product to have manufactured?

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.

I use them for my BL5000 hanging on the wall - find it better looking than plain cable cover screwed on the wall.

I like the more 'rough/robust' look of them Smile

But that - I guess - is a matter of taste.

I use them for my sub and for the rears (BL6002) too - would miss them, if I did not have them.

Whether it would be needed to have them extra produced or not, I don't know - seems that you can get them as 'second hand', if you need some.
