Hi Beoworld,

i bought a pair of nice looking S75 speaker for 85 €.

I´m overall quite happy with them, so i decided to renovat them.

I wanted to replace the foams of the mid´s in both speaker couse they are starting to rip

and recap the 30+ years old crossovers.

So would like to ask the experienced members to provide me with some guidance as i´m a total beginner in the field of speaker.

The first two queastion that pop up are:

  1. Where do i get the right foams for the mid speakers
  2. Which caps do i need and where to get  them

I would be happy if someone could help me out.

For surrounds Audiofriends and Good Hifi comes to mind, both in the Netherlands, For the caps, get the sizes from the crossovers in your speakers, the caps in the diagrams are not always the sames as in the speakers, there may have been production changes. I buy my bipolar caps from Parts Express

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
