I will share the story, but asking if anyone have had similar problems, or have any tips.1 got in my hands 4 amp fuse for the low voltage supply had gone., found 2 bad caps, and 2 bad diods. on the powersupply PCB, replaced the supply cap on the processor PCB.plugged in a new fuse and it worked fine, sent it back to my friend.2. got it back 4 amp fuse had gone again after transport and first powerup Put in a new 4 amp fuse, deconnected the power supply board ,took out the powersupply board and mesured all DC points on the low voltage supply circuits, they were fine, but a bit too high, so I set the system to 240 volt.Though I did found that I had forgot to cut of one end of the diods I replaced, which means that they could have connected to the chassi during transport - so that could be the eventual problem, which I dearly hopeHad a look on the 3 big power supplycaps, they were on leaking point all 3 so I replaced them anyway.3. plugged in the powersupply board to the rest of the system and the system and the display kicks on fine again. As the BC7700 is complex I havent been able to error track, determine the fault better then this.My idea now is to put it together and let it play for many hours, and switch it on and off some 50-60 times. to see if the fuse goes again.Any tips, or experiences to share regarding blown 4 amp fuse ?Christian
My re-capped M75 are my precious diamonds.
Correct type of fuse ?Short in speaker cable ?Internal antenna connector plugged in ?

Speaker cable I dont think so, he bought a pair of S60 from me, so hopefully he hasnt destroyed themWIll shortened speaker cable blow the 12 volt supply ?Fuse 4 amp slow.Antenna connected yes, how does that relate ?Christian
The internal antenna connection is an uninsulated plug that, if not connected, will ground whatever it hits.It typically falls into the amplifier. and/or muting circuits if not connected when the Beocenter is closed after service.
I think your uncut component pin is to blame but the right thing is to check and test everything.
