need to link my beolab 2000 to my bc9500 , the units are next to each other so the controlls on the 2000 won't be used , just need to find an input for the 2 channels coming from the powerlink. Does this sound workable  ? surely there's a way on to the amplier of the 2000 without using the masterlink ? has anyone seen or heard of such a cable or know the schematics of the amp? i am quite  competant at electronics and dont mind making cables/soldering terminals but am unfamiliar with the masterlink system - any help would be great - cheers

I know you say you'd like a way without using Masterlink but a Beolink Converter should do the job. Take a look here for compatibility of your model. The link is from the BeoTech website and showas all Masterlink compatible products.

If you take a look round that site you will see loads of wiring diagrams etc so you may find what you are looking for.

just had a quick mooch on ebay and found a converter for £28 delivered , i thought for that price i might aswell !  still though , an input for a 3.5mm jack/rca to a link speaker would be handy as you could you a link speaker a a stand alone unit for any source - that is if the amplifier on the link speaker would take it .

You might be able to connect the Beolink Convertor to the BL2000 (stand alone) and get an RCA to powerlink cable and see if that works.
