Hello guys.  i hope you are all having a nice Sunday.

I have a beovision 5, with a strong box.

It used to turn on with the right picture format automatically.

I unplugged and moved it, reconnected.

The picture fills the screen, but is compressed.  The strong box is on the right setting, and have tried every setting when the TV is turned on, but none look correct, unless you press format 3 on the beo 4.

I have to press format 3 every time to get a natural picture when TV is turned on.

Does anyone know how to keep format 3 permanently, so I don't have to change every time?

The receiver box is connected to TV via scart lead.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Strange one as 'format 3' for picture should be the default.  In the user manual it just says that if the picture isn't on format 3 you can change it - as you know.  Are you sure everything is reconnected as it was - the strong box in the same scart socket etc.  I don't see why it should change unless something has defaulted to factory settings when it was unplugged for moving.

Dave.

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply.

Everything is set up as normal, hooked up b&O TV's many times, never had a problem with scart connections/digital box before (with format working properly , that's why it's a bit odd!

Have no idea what it may be.....
