i suppose what I am really asking is what changes to the sound from the speakers is made when switching to open, wall or corner?

Thanks, I'll read it with interest. Meanwhile, I'd like your opinion on this. My right front speaker is sort of positioned in a corner but not really!  It is to the right of a chimney *** so is in a corner formed by the chimney ***  and a wall, which switch position should I choose?  At the moment, I have switched it to 'wall'. But maybe I should use 'corner'

My reply has been censored. Maybe I should have said chimney stack instead!  Haha!

In situations like this when it's not clear if it's really a corner or not, I think it's best to try the switches in the different options and let your ears decide what sounds best in the overall set-up.

Dave.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks
