Hi Guys,
Anyone know of a source for the small rubber feet (pads) for a Beolink 1000 remote?
Assuming this isn’t worth anyone’s trouble to keep in stock, any suggestions on what could be “artistically” modified to work in their place?

I believe they are still available from B&O.

I can confirm that they are (as of last year). They told me they are the cheapest item they sell in fact! Something like 25p a pad!

The pads are the same as the pads on the beolink passive or ML/MCL converter. I took them from one of them.
Beosound 5 Encore + Beosystem 5500 + S45.2; BV7-40 MKV + BL7.1 + BL14.4+ AppleTV4; various link rooms with MCL2 A or MCL2 A/V + RL60.2 / CX100 / CX50 & Cona / IWS2000; BG4000; Beosystem 1200 + BV1600.

I tried Vancouver and left a message for the “repair guy,” who unfortunately does not work on older “mid-century” electronics stating, “No parts are available,” but I figured he might at least source the part. Besides, it never hurts to ask.
The part number is: 3103328.
No dice, he never returned my 9:00AM call.
Then tried Seattle spoke with the lone salesman in the store, nice guy I guess to be about 18. I inquired if his store had a repair department and was told with GREAT excitement, “YES; he is out of Vancouver and comes down twice a month.”
Yep, the same guy who didn’t return my phone call. I began getting the feeling I had just purchased White Star Line tickets on their newest ship going from Southampton to New York in 1912.
It’s Friday and everyone has gone home for the weekend. Will give it a go next week. If need be I’ll call every dealer in the US.
In the mean time, if anyone has a suggestion for where I might find these Beolink 1000 feet (pads) I sure would love to hear about it.

Well sir THAT was a challenge.
Vancouver B&O Repair never bothered to call back; neither did the enthusiastic young man in Seattle, Washington.
I then tried Chicago, Illinois but no dice, couldn’t find the part and even if they did would not ship to Canada.
I don’t give up easily so I called Toronto, Ontario where the conversation slipped into cars and I had a car nut on the line with his prized 1971 Dodge Challenger. We “clicked.”
Next thing I know I have my 8 black rubber pads for the 2 Beolink 1000’s and the last they had in stock.
The Toronto B&O dealer routinely repairs vintage products and also sells them. Not only that, they buy broken equipment for parts to be used in future repairs so not only did I find my pads but also a good resource for parts without customs or duty.
