Hi,all Hav'nt been around for a while.Could a fellow member assist with the following,I have recently been given a pair of Beo-Lab 6000 speakers. I would like to know how to set these up,from my 6500 amp.At present there are four speakers connected,Do these have to be disconnected prior to connecting the two 8 din plugs in for the  speakers.Plus when I connect the three pin plugs in to the electrical sockets the neons light up.HELP!

Regards,Anthony.

You can run one BL6000 from each Powerlink socket - setting the BL's to L or R as needed.  Or, you can use 1 Powerlink socket and daisy chain the BL6000's.  The Powerlink cables carry L and R channels.

What other passive speakers have you got connected already?  The amp has a protection system so it won't be overloaded.  You can run them all together but depending on the passives, the BL6000's may dominate as they are amplified.

Which 3 pin plugs do you mean and which neon lights?  Do you mean on the speakers?  If so, they are red on standby and green when switched on by the Beomaster.

Hi Dave ,Thanks for your esponse. Sorry for this delay, have been away just got back.

In the back of the amp there are two power-link sockets.I have plugged one 8 din into each,on the bottom of the speakers are right and left switches I have set these accordingly. Have plugged the two three pin plugs into the wall sockets, the led are showing red at present, will connect these up tomorrow and advise.

Am running four passive speakers from the same amp, perhaps they will all respond together!

Regards Tony B.
