Hello all,
The following existing setup:
Main room: Beosound 4 with 2x Beolab 4 (and 2x Beolab 6000 in other part of that room).
Kitchen: Beolab 3500 connected via Masterlink to the Beosound 4
Now I would like to connect another Beolab 3500 in the study also to the Beosound 4.
But I cannot pull a masterlink cable.
The study is closer to the kitchen then to the Besound 4.
Is there a way to connect the Beolab 3500 in the study wireless to the masterlink step in the main/kitchen?
(FYI modernizing the complete setup is not an option)
Thanks.

Yes, Beolink Wireless 1 is your solution.

It's easy. Cut your ML cable and connect it again with a ML junction box. Here you also connect a new ML cable to one of the transmitter boxes for Wireless 1. If possible have it all hidden. Install the other transmitter box near your new BL 3500 and connect to it with a ML cable.
You find the manual for Beolink Wireless 1 at the B&O website (choose language before down loading):

There are two things you'll need to check when you do this.
1. Ensure the Beolab 3500 is the wireless compatible version. Newer ones are. There are discussions on here giving the relevant serial numbers.
2. Ensure the Wireless 1's are both running the same software version or they will not connect to each other. I also think you need the later software to be compatible with the BL 3500.
