Software upgrade MCL2 A/V

Hi guys, I have some volume control problems in one of my link rooms, and reading on the old forum I found out that it is a software issue. I have one with sw version 2.2 and it works well, on the other I have software version 2.1, and I need 2.2 or 2.3. Was there ever a chip made to upgrade the software? Or do I need to look for a new MCL2 A/V with the right software?

So, I guess there is little to no interest anymore in MCL, but I still find it fascinating that it still works - despite some noise and volume issues. The software issue was solved by means of a new MCL2AV purchase, actually a very nice mint item:

The issues that some members were talking about here are I think also caused by the software issue, because it resembles the issues that were solved in sw 2.2. FYI:

The following issues were fixed by version 2.2:

If a two-way CTV for example a 39XX and a one-way audio master like the Beomaster 5500 are placed in the central room, the MCL2AV is unable to detect the connection to a one-way audiomaster. This results in the following issues:

• Wrong volume level and wrong display read-out in x-tra active speaker room.
• If an audio source is activated from an x-tra TV room, the volume will rise to 34. If BM 5500 has already been switched on, the volume should be raised to 10. If BM 5500 is in standby mode the volume should rise to 20.
