Guys i need help ...
I have Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 2500 that i bought brand new, couple years ago. I know it's rare to find this unit brand new, but it wasn't used at all and was just sitting in the box.
It was working perfect, but couple months ago the sensor sliding doors stopped opening. The motor is trying to open them, the light is lighting up, but it feels like something holding the doors and they can't open. The official B&O store will charge me tonns of money for it, so i was wondering if you guys know someone in LA are, who can fix it. Or maybe some kind of advice, which will help me to fix it myself, i'm an audio technician, but i have worked with microphones and stuff, not with this kind of equipment. I am pretty sure it's a simple fix, something like changing a belt or something.
Any information will be helpful.
Thanks,
A while ago, I took my Beosound 4000 (which I no longer own) to Tek Media Group (an official B&O service center) to fix a door pulley issue. They fixed it for what I found to be an extremely reasonable price. They're located in Burbank. CA.

I contacted them directly without going through a B&O store. Dropped off and picked up my unit in less than a month's total time.
DIsclaimer: I do not work for, nor do I officially represent that business in any way shape or form. I just had one interaction with them, and I was satisfied.
Thank you Sal,
I contacted them and was really surprised. They offered free estimate which was rare.
I'm gonna take to unit to them today.
Thank you again.
As I understand it sometimes the sliders become dirty and this prevents the doors opening and closing properly due to increased friction. Also they do have belts and these can stretch with age and need replacing.
There is some videos on youtube showing how to remove the glass doors.

Lee can you post a link to those videos ?

Hi,
In my expirience try replace the belt and put some lubricants on gears and clean the rail of the glass door it should be free from dust or any obstacle in the gliding mechanism or lets say rail like.
