Hi,

This is my first post, so please be gentle!

I have just been gifted a BeoVision 4-50 Plasma & BeoSystem 3 with a BeoLab 7.2 Center Speaker, BeoLab 2 & a pair of BeoLab 6000’s. I intend to install this in my lounge & uses purely for the TV.

I already have several Play:5’s, Play:3’s & Play:1’s that are dotted about the house. I wanted to be able to integrate the BeoLab’s into the Sonos set up (for when I have parties). I want to use the Sonos speakers & B&O speakers together & control it all through the Sonos App.

My question is this; I know that a Sonos Connect will allow me to integrate the BeoLab’s into the Sonos set up but what is the best way to connect it to the BeoSystem 3 so I can have the B&O equipment working stand alone for TV use, but bundle everything together for music?

Thanks

Have a look at the Almando Powerlink Switch! That will do the job!

Hi MattHud and welcome to Beoworld,

first of all concrats to your 'new B&O-set' - you are a lucky guy ;-)

Just buy a Sonos Connect and hook the digital coax-out up to one of the digital-ins on the BSys3.

You will need to do some configuration first, but afterwards you will just have to choose to assigned source button on the remote and choose the Connect as player in the app (or group it with your other Sonos-thingies).

Have a look in the tv-userguides (you can find them on the B&O website) and feel free to ask again, if needed.

Tip: if you push 'AV' before puhing the 'Source' button on the remote, the setup will start up with a muted screen and the sound from your speakers.

I am sure, that a lot of the beoworlders can help you.

Then, best apecify which remote/Beo4, you have - since there are several versions with different options.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Hi,

So my wife is now complaining that I have 2 subs, the Sonos Sub & the BeoLab 2 (here's to 1st world problems!) Ideally I would like to keep using the Sonos Sub with the B&O set up.

Can I use a Masterlink to RCA cable to connect the dedicated sub socket on the BSys3 to the RCA in on the Sonos Connect? If so will this allow me to:

1) Use the Sonos Sub alongside the other B&O speakers as part of the TV setup?

2) Also allow me to use the B&O & Sonos together as one system for music if I connect the digital coax-out on the Sonos Connect to the BSys3?

I know the Sonos connect AMP has a dedicated Sub input but I don't require the amp so it seems like a waste of money.

Thanks
