Hallo!

Bastan

My german is not good, could you use english?

Hello Philippe

i will change the belts today or tomorrow i think, if i have luck the beocord will play, i think.

my question is, without belts the motor will not drive... is this normal?

greetings

Bastian

Yes, the motor should run at all times, except in standby.
If the old belts jammed up and seized the motor, the power supply will have been overloaded and a fuse
sitting on the bottom board, almost directly under the motor, will have blown.

Good luck with the Ebay belts. I have a jar with some of them next to a jar with the same amount of motors with damaged bearings.
Cheap junk sold expensive. Actually correct belts are cheaper.

If the motor won't spin easily (unpowered) by hand, its bearings are gone.
