Hi

I am doing an update to the Avant. It says latest software 14 September.

Just a friendly reminder to update if you so wish

It says it takes 10 mins once it's downloaded and I attest to it taking that long to install.

No notes about the update

There's an update for the BV11 as well. No notes for that update neither. I haven't noticed anything new since the update.

My BV updated Sunday overnight, found out on Monday when I turned the TV on. As with the others in this thread, no update notes.

My BV11 has updated too. If set to automatically update all you can do is accept it via the Beo4 when the update screen shows on turning on the TV.

Nothing to worry about..... unlike the IOS 9 for the iPad which arrived this morning and I am dithering over as the last update certainly slowed my iPad down considerably.

And mine too

I reckon it's a planned obsolescence in order for you to upgrade.

I don't know why this happens, but give it a little time. It should eventually smooth out and be back pretty damn near close to the speed it was before. The same happened with my 6 Plus when I updated to iOS 9 but over the past couple of days it has begun to get back to normal. Same thing also happened with the retina Macbook Pro when I updated to Yosemite... I was quite disappointed... but eventually it got back to normal.

I updated my iPad air2 last week and I've seen no slowing down. Just some nice new features.

Dave.

Every airline bar one uses Apple products and software(An American airline were given Windows pads gratis, but the pilots threatened to not use them. Turned out they didn't work very well). Boeing will not have their software run on Android devices.

It makes sense therefore to use a device that can mirror the companies software and hardware.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

So what is the big mystery?  Why can't B&O simply tell us what the update is all about?  Apple, for instance, always make it very clear what the update involves

Watch os2?

I see Apple Watch Hermes will come soon and I think it's not bad.

How often do you have to charge yours and how far does it need to be from the phone to work?

40 hours. Just charge it overnight, as we virtually all take them off anyway.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

I take mine off overnight when I sleep and charge it overnight. I have never had a moment where the watch lost all of it's juice. I remember a time when I forgot to charge it for maybe two and a half days, and it went down to 5 percent. I was wearing it during the day for that time period. With normal use, mine has never fallen below 60 percent.

My watch and phone have been about 30-40 feet apart in separate rooms and they still manage to stay tethered. Your mileage may vary.
