Spotify and Deezer on Beosound 5 and Avants...

Hello

I was reading an article yesterday that suggested:

1. Spotify may not have all of its tracks at 320 bit and actually many are below this- rumour or is there any truth?

2. Deezer provides lossless playback to those with a Sonos System. Are there plans for a Lossless Deezer service on the Bang and Olufsen products?

3. Will beosound 5 get Deezer as an update? I heard it might, but perhaps that's wishful thinking.

Finally, a slightly unrelated question...(which I posted on the beosound 5 Forum however no answers as yet):

4a.How often are NRADIO links updated by the beosound? (I'm experiencing dead links)

4b. Do people know of 320 bit NRADIO stations (classical, jazz and house genres) presently that I can store as favourites?

Hi David,

In the past when the BeoSound 5 net radio stations aren't working I have sent an email to Beocare.

From memory they will require the name of the station, website, country, URL of stream. Could also require streaming rate as well. The stream has to be WMA (I think) otherwise it can't be loaded.

If ok they usually upload for next update.

Going fro memory here so might have forgot a requirement or two.

With respect to your third question, I had a dealer recently tell me that yes, the top level Deezer would be available in a couple months. I was told this when considering of purchase of a Moment.

You're suggesting a lossless version of Deezer will be available for Bang and Olufsen customers? Only on the Moment and beovisions, or also on the Besound 5?

From what I was told, the Moment. But the way he talked it sounded like also TVs. There was no mention of it being added to the Beosound 5.
