Hi guys,

I've got the IR code converter all hooked up to allow control of my Beomaster 8000 with the later remote controls. I'm currently using it with a Beo4 remote which works well... Apart from if I turn off the Beomaster off with the remote and then turn it on with the button on the Beomaster. If I do this I can't control the Beomaster with the Beo4 until I press a function key on the remote.

For example... Say I've been listening to my media streamer via TP2 and afterwards I turn the Beomaster off with the Beo4, and then decide I want to listen to an LP... I put the record on the platter and press play on the Beogram 8000 which turns the BM8000 on and the record plays. I then sit in my listening position and want to adjust the volume with the Beo4. If I press the volume keys the volume doesn't change. I have to press a function key on the Beo4 and can then adjust the volume with the remote.

Is this some quirk of using a Beo4 and would using a terminal 1000 cure it?

Any thoughts?
