Has anyone any experience of this

Thinking that if connected to a Beolink converter and the IR input taken from the device then it could replace an audio master, but wondered if anyone else has tried it?

How would you control the volume, then?

As I undertand this product, is that it enable you to have several devices connected to an Audiomaster. It does not replace an audiomaster.

No - Andrew wanted to replace the audiomaster with the converter (1611), as I understood his posting.

I understood that Smile

I was just explaining what the referenced product was meant to do. So, in short, the product he linked to will not be able to replace an audiomaster, even if its connected to a 1611. As you say, it will not be possible to adjust the sound.

Hi

Correct, it was to replace the Audiomaster as I did at one point just have an AE and DAC connected to the 1611 and this worked fine - the referenced product would allow more sources to be connected and selected as Phono, CD , Radio etc - which would be better for me as I could connect an Internet Radio from the same company and still have Phono and Streaming - just wondered if anyone had done that or used this product? I'll try emailing the company and see what they say.

There is no need for volume as that comes from the local devices attached to the link system, i.e. BV8, BV6-26, BL2000 and Beolink Passive with Pentas

Mean to add that the purpose of doing this rather than just using the system as it is, is to simply matters and not have the BM6500 on all the time - and is it's old I'm aware that it could be likely to fail so this seemed like a good way of achieving what I want and simplifying my system
