Does anyone know where I can purchase this belt? Thank you.

Welcome to Beoworld !

Sorry to answer your first question with a nowhere.
This part breaks in more or less all of the Beograms in which it has been fitted. It's not available
any longer from  B&O (hasn't been for decades) and as far as I know noone reproduced it.
The good news is that its only purpose is to move the little white dot on the dial (that most owners
hadn't even noticed), so the Beogram and the speed fine adjustment works fine without it.

Thank you much for the info. The broken belt must not be the problem then. The turntable spins way too fast. I guess I will need to locate a speed adjustment.

Thank you for the info. The broken belt must not be the problem then. The turntable spins real fast. I guess I need to look for a speed adjustment. I turned the wheel on the lower left but the speed never changed.

Thanks again,

Tom

Check if the platter belt is slipping on the motor pulley.
If it does, the electronics will often allow the motor to syncronize at twice its normal speed and lock it there.
Lift off the platter and check if the motor pulley spins up slipping on the platter belt.

It doesn't appear to be slipping on the platter but when I start it the belt slips down the motor pulley then comes back up. Do you think it is the belt?

Yes.
It should have a very good grip of the motor pulley.

Would you happen to know where the speed adjustment screws are located? I am curious just in case I have any future problems. I downloaded the manual and it says to adjust 1R9 and 1R7. I can't seem to find them in the machine. I removed the bottom cover and still can't find them.

Thank you

Tom
