Hi All!

I have a TX2.  When I hit 'play', the tonearm moves over to the record, and drops very quickly onto it.  Is the damping an easy adjustment?  I've seen the YouTube video showing the adjustment on a tangential arm that has the sensor arm on the left.  This is one of the models with the tone arm on the left.  I'm guessing most models with the tonearm on the left would be similar?  Thanks for any help.

It's not really a sensorarm on your deck, - it has no sensor functions.
The lifting/lowering in your deck is all done mechanically. Gears and levers driven by a gear on the platter spindle.
The speed of lowering is determined by the rotational speed of the platter.
A normal lowering should take apprx. 1 second.
