Interesting... I'm in Dublin today. Once I've carried out the job I'm here to do, which will hopefully only take me an an hour or so this morning, I have the rest of the day free as my flight home again is not until this evevning.

Looks like I might have to try and find my way to the Dublin store later to take a look Smile

Martin.

I don't understand why in Europe we are interested in Black Friday, it's not a national holiday as it is in America where it's part of Thanks Giving enabling shoppers the ability to shop.

Also there is mounting evidence in the UK this is financially not working for retailers , John Lewis noted that their electrical department did not recover sales until the following February.

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

I visited both Dublin stores today!

I finished the job I went to Dublin to carry out within an hour this morning so was free by 9am and my flight home didn't leave until around 8pm, so I had the whole day to try and amuse myself.

After checking out of the hotel, I walked out of town to Donnybrook to to the address listed on the B&O website only to find it looking rather sparse as they are currently moving to a new premises - I had a nice chat with the guy working there though.

On my way back into town the heavens opened, so by the time I reached the new store I must have looked like a drowned rat. The new store is on St Stephen's Green, near the top end of Grafton Street - had I not cut through the green on my way to the old store I'd have walked right past it.

I not really in the market for an A2 right now - my partner expressed interest in the A2 and the Beolit 15 when we visited the factory, much to my surprise as she's never shown much interest in anything B&O in the past except the value of the invoices Whistle, so I've already bought her a 15 as a Christmas present. I considered buying a pair of H7's for myself (not on offer, but slight discount vs UK price given the current exchange rate) but they didn't have any in stock.

Kind Regards,

Martin

There are some amazing deals out there. I know I'm going off piste here, but this is essentially £1,000 off when you include the price of the lens ie the body alone is £1,250!

This has a zoom lens, and a much much better UI for essentially the same price. Plus wifi connectivity.

Miss the zoomHuh?
