Hi all,
Just trying to find some info on the Beocom 6000 telephone.
I have one of these, one of the very first off the line in the uk i should think as i was constantly asking about the launch at the time, and as soon as they were available i bought one.
Its now gone faulty, its had many issues over the years, but allways kept going.
Its now permanently saying NO SIGNAL, tried the usual taking the battery out overnight etc, unplugging the charger, pressing the centre button on the base.
Its just un usuable now.
Im i right in thinking Bang & Olufsen no longer make the beocom 6000?
Cannot find any info regarding them available for sale new anywhere.
Have found info inline saying its a common problem with a chip failing in the phone, is this sometthing that can be fixed? or is it a scrapper?
Want a new one if its scrap as really liked the phone, mines a black one on the original aluminium pyramid base with the green indicator light.
