Hi

Currently I'm not using my Beolab 3s since I purchased the BL18s, and was thinking what to do with them.

When i got my refund on the encore they were just sitting there not being used, so when i bought the avant they were used as rears with receiver 1s

Now i have the 18s as rear speakers with the avant, i was thinking that as a possibility that if I set up the receiver 1 with the Beolab 3s in my dining room and create a new speaker group, could the Avant say handle two sources?

Could one person watch TV in one room with the lab 18s, and me listen to music through net radio being sent from the avant to the Beolab 3s in the dining room, or would li need some wizzbangery ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Michael,

I don't think it is possible to direct two different sources to two different speaker groups on the Avant.

You could of course configure three speaker groups, one for the lounge, one for the dining room, and one that included both sets of speakers, so that you can choose whether to listen in the main room, the dining room, or both together, but only to the same source.

Alternatively, you could add an essence mk2 in the dining room to achieve pretty much what you were originally aiming for.

Kind Regards,

Martin.

That will not be possible - as Martin says, go for an Essence MK2 instead.
