I have purchased a used unit and are unsure of the features, it'll be really different strength on the gramophone sound if I use one or the other input?

Your BM has 2 phono inputs, one for TTs with build in preamplifier and the other for TTs without preamp. (the preamp is in the BM)
Aha, that probably explains the sound difference, thanks Søren!

How do I change the scalebulbs? Do I have to remove the white milked glass under the "scale-needle"?
Yes, and the common reflector sitting on the lamps. It should have its opening facing the "mirror".Good time to clean all the parts, they will need it.
OK, thank you Martin!
