Hi
After replacing my BS5 with the Moment i can not access any sources on the Beolab , when entering the menu on the 3500 it say no ML.
any ideas ? ( execs for the power on off).
thank you
Gilbert
Could be that you need to add the little power box, now when you probably do not have a Master to feed the current to the BL3500.

Hello,
please help me to understand if I need this power box.
I have replaced my BS5 with the Moment and NL/ML converter .
I have several beovisions 7-55, 10-32, 4-42 ,6-26 connected to the ML, and on those i receive sound from the Moment when pressing CD.
But nothing on the Beolab 3500 and on the second beovision 4-50.
will this box solve the problem?
regards
gilbert

Hard to tell. I´m not sure that any of you Masterlink TVs actually feed a current into Masterlink for your Beolab 3500 to function.
The fact that your BV4-40 does not work as it should indicates there may be a problem with your configuration of the NL/ML Converter.
Can you provide screenshots of you NL/ML Converter settings?
Any of the beovisions should be capable of supplying the masterlink bus with power. Indeed the fact that some of the beovisions are able to communicate with the Moment (via the NL/ML converter) proves that the bus is being supplied with power.
Was the masterlink wiring or any of its junction boxes disturbed whilst making the changes to your setup?
Have you tried powering off all the devices (at the mains) and powering them back on one at a time (main room beovision first) to allow the masterlink devices to reconfigure their addresses?
Martin.
I appreciate all the help that i can get, it is a really mystery to me.
It is like random play, but the random is which device is working or not ,
5 days ago I had sound all over my house except the beolab 3500,
2 days ago I had music in all my devices including BL 3500, except for BV 7-55.
Today without making any changes, only BV-10 and BV 6-26 all other devices do not respond when I pres radi or cd.
How can this be??
This is my set up connected to ML:
BV-75 with several speakers ( main room)
BV 4-42 ( beosystem 2) with several speakers
BV 4-50 ( beosystem 2) with several speakers
BV -10
BV-26
Beolab 3500
The moment replaced the BS 5 which was connected using the NL/ML converter.
And yes I have several times made the reset (power off) in the whole house.
Thank you

Does the moment also have it's own speakers?
Is it in the main room with your BV7-55?
Have you checked the option setting for each masterlink device?
Has any of the masterlink wiring been disturbed or was the existing masterlink cable that used to connect to the BS5 simply been swapped to the NL/ML converter?
Can you post photos of the menus showing how the NL/ML converter has been configured?
Assuming each of the link rooms contain only one product (be that one of the BeoVisions, or the BL3500), then each of these link room products should be set to V.OPT 6 (in the case of the BVs) and A.OPT 6 (in the case of the BL3500).
The BV7-55 in the main room will need to be set to either V.OPT 1 or 2 depending on the location of the Moment and whether it has it's own speakers.
Kind regards,
