Hi,

I love B&O but want to buy the right speakers so can expand in future....

Just moved into a new pad with open plan living room so looking for a good speaker /s to fill room compatible with apple product to play music and possibly one I can use with TV (would love surround sound but probably cant afford at mo!)

Have about £1k GB and have a few options... just wondering what people think would be best sound quality?

OPTION 1
Beoplay A6 using phono for TV (positioned next to TV)

OPTION 2
BeoLab 6000 Mk1 (pair) (second hand) and a Sonos Connect (or similar product?)

OPTION 3
Beoplay S3 speakers (pair)........ maybe Sonos Connect if bluetooth is not great?

At the moment they are in order of my preference!

Or any better suggestions?

If you shop carefully and sell the cat, you could get an A9! I'd forget the Beolab 6000's personally.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Why not wait and save money until April to buy a real Sound system ?

The BeoSound 35 is a beautiful Bang & Olufsen's product ! Yes - thumbs up

I was in the same boat before Xmas and with new Beolabs out in the next 12-24 months wanted something that would fill a room and keep me going for a couple of years without spending very much. I auditioned the Beolab 6000s and the 8000s and as you guessed there was no competition. If you are intent on filling a room at reasonable volume and don't want to spend a lot of money then you can get great quality used Beolab 8000s for £1000/Euros1000

.

Present: BL90, Core, BL6000, CD7000, Beogram 7000, Essence Remote.

Past: BL1, BL2, BL8000, BS9000, BL5, BC2, BS5, BV5, BV4-50, Beosystem 3, BL3, DVD1, Beoremote 4, Moment.

Yeah I do love the 8000s and have been watching what they go for...

think I'm still leaning towards the A6 as its quite understated but haven't heard how it sounds yet but sure it's going to be good enough for my room... Is it as good as a pair of 5000s?

the 35 does look an assume bit of kit but I hate speaker bars!... even B&O never show it with tv as it will look shocking!
