Hi Guys

I hope that you can help me.

In my setup I have a Beosound 3000 that until now has been working flawles. But all of a sudden the radio has decided not to work anymore ?

I have had it opened and there is no visible damage to any of the components.

Looking in the service manual, I found to place the unit in test mode:

"Sound 0258"

and look in the error counter (TM27) and it says:

IO error 6, "FEP Communication Error".

Made a reset and put the unit back on the wall and all of a sudden the radio worked again. Happy Big Smile

But now, after a good night of sleep, turning the radio on and nothing ! Confused

Checking the error counter and the same is stored again.

Anybody has any idea ?

Best

Henrik

This moght be a dying processor board. They become rather hot and loose contacts or burnt parts can be caused.

Example: BS9000 upc board ended dead.
