Hi,

I need some help, I have a beocom 1200 which I purchased, it didn't come with the power adapter/ splitter. It only had the phone lead coming out the back. I am in the uk and would like to get this working.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of an adapter or something that would work.? I can't make a cable myself but am willing to buy one. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Take a look at the old/archived forum. I'm fairly certain that Keith posted some wiring diagrams of the connections in the splitter.

Maybe Steve at Sounds Heavenly can help?

There are two versions of the splitter. One has a white dot the other one doesn't. This indicates which version of the splitter works with PSTN bases, BeoCom & BeoTalk products. If you get the wrong splitter it won't work.

I am back in work on Saturday and will check the part numbers and check availability if you haven't had an answer by then.

Hi

I have checked for the part numbers that you requested. Unfortunately the power supply (8040045) and gry cable from the BeoTalk1200 to the splitter (6100351) are no longer available to order from Bang & Olufsen. You will have to drop lucky and see if your nearest dealer has these items in stock or pick up second hand.

The splitter that you would need is part number 7229176. This is the version with the white dot and is supplied with both BeoTalk1100 & 1200 plus the old original pyramid bases. The other splitter (7229165) has no white dot and is used for the PSTN base and BeoCom4.

Good luck in your quest.

I now need one of these power supplies too. Is there no non B&O off the shelf option?
