Dear all,
I am building a new appartment and have to finalize the cabling stuff.
I am torn between my existing Beolab 6000 which require two costly floor container (http://www.amazon.de/Einbausteckdose-Fu%C3%9Fbodendose-Edelstahl-230V-Dosen-Datenanschl%C3%BCsse/dp/B00VI19SY4/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1455433478&sr=8-10&keywords=bodentanks)
and ceiling mounted Beolab 3s.
Can anyone possibly make a statement here? How is the Beolab 3 sound experience and the acustic lense effect if they are above my head?
Thanks
I have my Beolab 3:s mounted close to the ceiling slightly tilted down. Spreads the sound very well in my opinion.
You can see one of them in this picture. (note: I´m not using this speaker for TV sound, hence the placement)
Livingroom: BL3, BL11, BV11-46 Kitchen: Beosound 1 GVA, Beocom 2 Bathroom: M3 Homeoffice: M3, Beocom 2 Library: Beosound Emerge, Beocom 6000 Bedroom: M5, Essence remote Travel: Beoplay E8 2.0, Beoplay EQ, Beoplay Earset
thx. But in my case the is actually exaclty what I need, for TV rear sound (5.1).
Why are you not happy with the Beolab 3 in this postion as TV speaker?

It has only to do with how my room and seating area is set up. So it has nothing to do with the speakers. I'm sure they will make an awsome job as rear speakers.
