Hi,

My well served AC/DC adapters for MCL2AV's are dying one by one. Obviously no spares are available. Will any 15V AC/DC adapter do or is there something I need to take into account?

The output info of the old one is 15V 300mA/4.5VA (Made By DVE type DV1430UP)

Thanks

Mico

I should think it will be quite easy to find one with the correct output - you also need to get the polarity right, as discussed here: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/20537.aspx

I presume that you have ruled out using the 15V power output from an MCL2P amp?

Thanks Guy,

I am already using that as a workaround for one of the MCLAVs. Now I lost another adapter.... Need to check the polarity when I find a suitable adapter

Hi,

MCL2AV indeed uses a 15v center negative PSU.

As you are located in Finland, this is probably the same that I used with my MCL2AV: https://www.partco.fi/fi/teholaehteet/hakkurit/kiinteaet-dc-hakkurit/9593-np-dch-15v06.html
