Hi,

One of my Beolab 8000's (mk2 i think) has developed a hissing noise once its warmed up. I've got it in bits on my bench - amp removed - and though I might spot a dry joint or a dried out capacitor or something, but nothing obviously wrong. Something of a stab in the dark, but I suppose the cross-over circuit might be the first suspect.

Anyone got any suggestions on what to do next?

Is this 'hissing' a known fault with a known suspect component? Does anyone have a*********

dan
