Hi, I have just picked up one of these amazing works of art/systems for use with older 4:3 ratio gaming consoles such as PS1 and older. Fantastic system and the sound is truly outstanding for a standalone system.
One of the reasons I picked one up was for the CDi capabilities but sadly upon opening the CD player and inserting a CD it seems that the player is dead. The motor does not spin up and the laser head does not move.
Does anyone have any pointers to what could be the problem or even a schematics manual so that I can start some investigative work to solve the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would love to get this back to working as it once did.
