Beosound 9000 not showing CD names

Hello there - a newbie here.

I've just bought a Beosound 9000 with Beolab 4000 speakers.

Awesome.

However - I've followed the steps for naming CD's and it all works. Each CD is chosen and the name appears.

If I turn the system fully off, when I turn on again, the names no longer show unless I press 'naming' under the flap.

Surely the names should just appear?

Also, when I turn the system on, it always starts with the radio even if I choose CD.

Maybe I'm being dim somewhere...

Any help please?
