BeoSound Essence as remote to Moment?

Is it possible to utilise the BeoSound Essence as pure remote control (without the main BeoSound Essence unit) together with Moment? Would be quite nice to use and have the BeoSound Essence remote knop as a pure audio controler and as a easy quick complement to the Moment.
