Hi I have a beosystem 7000 which developed a no sound fault, it all lights up but there's no sound from the speakers. The LED on the speakers turns green when on as if there's sound and turns red when muted, the mute clicks. Also from standby the volume always comes on at level 54, which I'm sure it didn't do before. There is a constant humming when plugged in. I did take the top off and the fan isn't working.

I have contacted my local B and O shop but they won't touch it as they say parts are no longer available.

Can anyone help with a repairer? I am in the UK Midlands or if it's a simple fix, I may have a go myself. It does have the plastic bung in the line in/out socket.

Thanks Phil
