Can someone please confirm if the first release of the BV9 has a plasma screen that is capable of 1080p resolution? I under the tuner is only SD 720p and MK II-IV has been upgraded to 1080p. I am not sure if the 720p associated with the BV9 is because of the limitation of the timer or the physical screen. Also, can the tuner module be upgraded? Thank you!

The Mk1 is 720p, Mk2 is 1080p, Mk3 is 1080p with ACM (Camera) and SD DVB - and there's also a final Mk4 which has DVB HD.

All are fantastic TV's and for peanuts now, but you need a decent sized room for them - otherwise they look like en elephant sitting in a cereal box!

The mk1 via USB is fine 1080i. To >= mk2 ok 1080p.

The beovision 9 for me is the most beautiful of all. But it is very big and is very expensive.

Better Beovision 4-50 fullhd with BeoSystem 3, you spend half.
