Hi guys,

I am selling my complete Beosystem 7000, I am wondering if I am getting its right value.

It has the Beomaster, Beocord, Beogram CD, Beogram with MMC2, and Beolink 7000 RDS sw 2.1.

I am also giving the buyer a pair of Beovox MS120.2 that needs refoaming, and also a Master control panel (5500)

Is 1100€ a good price for both parties, or am I getting screwed?

The system is in very nice condition except for a small hairscratch on the cd-player.

Hi Leo

I would say the buyer is getting a pretty good deal here but the price seems about right.

You would probably get more money by splitting up the system, particularly the Beogram and the MMC2 and the Beolink 7000.

Overall though, sounds about right.

But by splitting the system you will have to spend a lot more time selling-wrapping-posting etc and you then may not get buyers for all the parts.

I would be inclined to sell it if you have a buyer.

True, depends if you wanted to get the most money for it though or wanted the least hassle!

I would like the most money of course.

He is slow on answering emails, so might just drop it.

My "problem" is that it is in storage at my fathers place in Norway, and I am in Helsinki. Maybe I should just take it by car during summer.

Could I get some pointers to what I should charge for each component?

And should I sell the vinyl player and mmc2 separately?

I just sold  my complete 7000 exactly like yours, except that I included a set of CX100's.  I got 1180

The system is in my oppinion more worth, however you should also consider that the buyer is buying a 22 year old system. I sold mine without blinking for that price, it needed to go to a home where it would be used, and it did. The buyer was thrilled with the system :)

My system was completelly restored with new belts / mute-relay / Caps fix for cd and new backlight and battery in BL7000..
