Initial spec has been released on the Lumigon website today, mentions B&O ICEpower but generic infra-red remote capability but nothing specific about remote control for B&O, was this expected or maybe full spec not available yet?

If it's like the previous model it will have some B&O codes built in, but it can learn from other remotes.
I have not found the B&O IR control to be particularly effective. You can wave the phone/ remote to make changes or move an on screen cursor but the results are not consistent.

Does anyone have this phone? Would be nice with some impressions, they are hard to come by online..
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

I have the original T2 phone. Chris Townsend owns and has reviewed the T2HD in another thread.
Thanks, I´ll search for it.
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Thank you, Chris.
Hope your brother get better soon!
Come on.........
My biggest reservation about Lumigon is that as soon as the T2 HD came out all reference to the Lumigon T2 disappeared from their website.
Whilst you can still find the T2 manual doing a Google search, there is nothing at all on the website. Even the pull-down list of products and the support pages reveal only the T2 HD.
The other thing is that whilst I recall getting several software updates for the T2 there has been nothing of late. This all suggests that the manufacturer (or should I say the designer of a far-east manufactured product) is not interested in supporting previous products but is only interested in promoting whatever is current.
That's bad news, Graham. If Lumigon has no interest in support... I don't have interest in supporting them (= buy their products), too!I can't even see the 128GB version in the shop!?
Chris Townsend:I've been receiving regular updates all year for the T2HD, and what phones aren't made in China?
Well, I've received no updates in 6 months+ for my T2. Not necessarily a bad thing if they have ironed out all bugs or issues, but really bad if they are only interested in supporting the T2HD (until the next model comes out).
Why on earth have they removed all the T2 support and documentation from their website?
Chris Townsend:No idea, but I will ask.
Well, the Lumigon T2 support page(s) are hidden on the website at http://lumigon.com/t2-support.html
Unless you had that address (given to me by Lumigon) there is simply no way of finding it on their website, nor will Google find it for you.
Incidentally Chris, did you do a deal with Lumigon concerning your T2HD? I was offered a generous discount to upgrade but decided to stick with what I had. They did give me additional batteries for the T2 (disclosed in an earlier post.)

Lumigon has now released the T3. Any thoughts on frequency compatibility between a T3 and US cell bands? It looks to me like perhaps the 3G bands are compatible but not the 4G/LTE?
Thanks!

The T3 seems to look very nice. But it doesn't say anything about B&O remote compatibility... would be sad if it's gone.
It´s not gone !

quote from the Website:
"Universal remote control
With its infrared receiver and transmitter, the phone can be used as a remote control for TV, audio, video etc. You can also copy commands from your existing infrared remote controls into the memory of T3. The remote control app has a predefined selection of remote-control profiles including MAC and B&O products that you can adjust and personalize with different colours."
Ah, thank you, didn'd see that. :)
Their website designer seems to be Apple influenced... :-)
