The Encore is a standalone device - so no!
But - as you already have the Playmaker - just* connect that to the Aux-in of the Ouverture.
In order to access the files on your NAS, you should have a DLNA server running on the NAS (most already have one).
Using a DLNA control-app (PlugPlayer, 8Player or similar) on a tablet will give you access to the files and let you play these via the Playmaker.
*You'll need an adapter cable and you must set the output of the PL/Playmaker to fixed-line - the volume is then controlled via the Ouverture.
