Dear Beoworlders,
I am looking for some informations regarding the latest software version for my BV Avant. It seems that there are no new updates since 12/2015. Is this right? Is the latest version really so flawless, that no bugfixes are needed anymore. I know, never change a running system, but I still don't like the lousy homemedia implementation and the very slow Deezer-Implementation. The same version of Deezer is running on my 3 year old LG TV and it is much more responsive and snappy and faster than the Deezer Version on my Avant. Could you please check and post some informations about your software-version?
Thank you and Cheers
Beroli
Hi mjmedlo,
you are right regarding Deezer. But I meant a information like this
My Software version is: 1.0.11.37385
Release Date: 09-12-2015
This is my recent Software. Is there a newer software-version than mine?
Home Media can not handle several File-Formats, while my two other and older LG-TV's are playing them instantly from my NAS. Currently I use a Raspberry as a Mediacenter instead of the integrated HomeMedia from the Avant. With the FLIRC-USB, programmed as a Apple-Remote I can even use the BeoRemote One to control the Raspberry over PUC. So there are plenty work-arround-solutions instead of using the HomeMedia / but I would prefer to use the build in App.
Still my question regarding the Version remains.
Cheers Beroli

Hi Aussie Michael,
thank you very much for the checking the version. The files I wanted to access are mostly unencrypted, Drm-free ts-files (recordings from my dreambox (freetv)). ts-files are mpeg2 files. They contain mostly two languages and HD, but I can not play them over HomeMedia. Every othe mediaplayer can handle these files.
I will try to add a HD to the USB-Port and see, if there is a difference.
