A couple of months back i bought a BeoCenter 6-23. Not because I needed it, but simply because it was cheap. I thought it would be a nice bedroom TV. But at the same time that I had bought the BC6 I found an even cheaper BeoVision 8-26.

I preferred the look of the BC6-23 but although it had a DVI-socket, it wasn't HDCP-compatible. So if i wanted to connect my AppleTV I had to use a scart-converter.

The BV8-26 had a single HDMI-socket, not much, but perfect for my needs.

So i thought to myself, that I had to let go of the BC6-23, but if I could put the BV8-26 on the floor stand of the BC6-23, that would be perfect.

So I sold the BC6-23 without the floor stand. Bought a wall bracket for the BV8-26. Dismantled the wall bracket. Made a steel plate to connect the bracket for the BV8-26 and the floor stand.

And voila.

The best thing is that it actually ended up being free... I sold the BC6-23, for more than I payed, actually enough to cover the cost of the BV8-26 and the wall bracket. Lets have a Party !!!

Looks great! And economically beneficial too! Good job on the stand, looks like a factory job.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

@beovox141

Sorry - that is not everything!

That is making use of a BC6 floorstand in a clever way ;-)
