Hi Everyone,

Just acquired a Beogram 4002 today and my first Beogram actually.  I noticed the platter is wobbly when lightly pressing the edge of it.

Is this normal?  Is the top spindle bushing needs to be replaced?

Thank you!

Have you undone the transport screws?

It's normal due to the way the bearing is made.

Of course, it should run true with no wobble when playing.

Thanks you guys for the answer,

Yes transport screws undone but the platter is still wobbly however, as Dillen suggested, the way the bearing is made; the platter will wobble when stationary and will self centre when rotating.

it just feel cheap as a personal standpoint but that's the way it is!
