I have a Beocenter 9300 and I just noticed that the sound from the right channel of set 1 is almost quite at low volume but gets louder when the volume is turned up. The sound is fine on the left channel and both channels on set 2. And the sound is fine when using headphones. Is there anybody who can help me resolve this problem?

It is the mute relay that is defect.

It is located just besides the power trafo, on the amplifier PCB. You need to open the unit up, and be very carefull when removing the glas panels. The glass will be loose and needs to be re-glued/taped.

If I remember correct, the relay is a 9V-DC version, but they seem very hard to find these days.

I have used these relays on on the 8500/9500 versions, they use 6V as default, but I suspect the 9300 using 9V, if it is using 9V you can drop the voltage to 6V by putting 4 diodes in series between the relay and power for the relay. They each drop 0.7V
