Deezer not working on V1

Hello Beoworlders

 

since Deeezer seems to be B&O's preferred choice for streaming in an multi-room environment, I decided to have a look at Deezer on my V1. In the past I had a trial account, but did not subscribe to Deezer, and continued with Spotify since I like their Family offer very much!

 

To my surprise I got a page full of html code when selecting Deezer as a source on the V1. Anybody else has this experience? Has Deezer been disabled on V1? Or is there any other reason why I got this strange screen?

I tried to upload a picture, but for some reason this doesn't work. However, you can find the picture in the media section at http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/media/p/173460.aspx

Same problem here.   I live in the US and Deezer is not available in the US except on a Moment, Deezer Elite on Sonos, and I believe one other product in the US. I recently purchased a Sonos Connect as I wanted Deezer Elite. Once I signed up for Deezer Elite using the Sonos, I discovered I could log in to Deezer on my Essence and V1 without having to use the Sonos. 

A few days ago I tried Deezer on the V1 and just got a screen that said Deezer. I could not do anything. I had not tried Deezer on the V1 since as I typically listen to it through my Essence. But reading your post I tried and my V1 now displays exactly what you describe.

Thank you for your fast respons. The problem clearly has nothing to do with my V1 since you also have the same issue. I hope someone can tell us what's wrong.

By the way, I love your set-up very much! Very tasteful!

I wonder if the problem has occurred in other Beovisions (Avant? 11?) with Deezer? I just tried my Essence and it is still working fine on it.

I have posting this issue for a while on my avant and v1 been informed by bo that Deezer is writing updates for end of July

This looks like an equal problem Beosound Moment users had some time ago with the Deezer integration. To my experience this problem went suddenly away evenly after receiving a new OSX update for the Deezer on Mac application. Seems Deezer is updating applications on all platforms for listening, should this be a mark to launch Deezer Elite in the nearby future?

So nice that the company notice issues to their paying customers, not so!

This is clearly one of the perils of buying a TV with dedicated streaming services.

I have a Deezer subscription through Sonos as Deezer is not available in the US on B and O tvs. However, once I activated the account through Sonos the log in info worked on the V1 and Deezer worked on it also. I now have just a page of code also.

So far, this problem has not received a lot of attention on this forum. Can we therefore conclude that most people don't use their Beovision for Deezer streaming?

I use it/my V1 to join-in from the Essence, when using Deezer.

Well I do and I miss it.

V1 in the bedroom now having to use Link Deezer from moment which annoyingly turns on speakers down stairs too

Deezer is back indeed. However, I got an "Connection Error" message. So one step further, but not there yet.

Will try later today

I now get the Deezer start-up screen, and that's it. I once managed to go to the Deezer main screen, but can't reproduce this. I don't understand why.

I also once got a screen mentioning that I should subscribe to Deezer Premium. However, pressing the button 'to know more' does not result in any newt steps.

So, if I was a Customer who wanted to enter his Deezer credentials, I would not even be able to do so.....

Never mind, it was only an experiment to see how Deezer looks like on a V1. [:\'(][:\'(]

Just checked - isn't running.

Does not come beyond the Deezer start screen.

The Deezer app does not work across the smart engine platform. Deezer are revamping the app and it's due to relaunch sometime in July. For a true audio and multiroom experience I would suggest purchasing a BeoSound Essence MKII and product integrating it, this will enable you to enjoy Deezer, Spotify Connect and Tune in radio without any disruption.

Now working on BV11.

Double click on Deezer screen brings up menu on left (after getting a premium subscription screen which I ignored.)

Clicking 'Radio Channels' brings the theme choices up for the radio streaming. Picture mutes after about 1 minute.

Every one should now have it back as the software was updated over the weekend past.  Problem with 3rd party software is sometimes it can take a little time before they give it the attention it deserves/needs
