Dear members,

the title says it all. How do I best clean the white laminate surface of the olde MC120.2 speakers? Would application of Magic Eraser be a good idea?

Thanks!

Once upon a time I had beovox speakers with white laminate. As far as I remember, the surface should be cleaned with a easy wet cleaned cloth, - event with little soap. Do not use hard cleaners. If you are looking at the Bang & Olufsen support page, you might find a guide for older beovox speakers. It is also possible to ask directly from Bang & Olufsen at the support side.

Soap and water doesn't do much, unfortunately. White spirit neither. There are some shadows on the white and there is some light yellowing - but not evenly over the entire surface. Magic eraser, while generally not suited for lacquered surfaces, has served me well on plastic surfaces. That's why I'm tempted to try.

Greetings,

In my experience, it is impossible to remove the yellowing as it is not a surface effect.
