I have recently updated my BV11-40 with an AppleTV 4K and also installed the latest PUC-table for it.

During the setup on the BV11 I'm asked if the AppleTV should be turned off when switching to other sources. I have selected this feature, but it dosn't seem to work.

I have noticed that if I'm streaming from an app on the AppleTV and then just change to normal TV, the streaming continues on the AppleTV.

Does anybody experience the same and/or have a solution to make sure that the AppleTV will go into standby when changing source on the BV11?

Best regards - Dyssegaard

I have the same experience, The ATV keeps running.

I have not bothered, since the powerconsumption is quite low:

Sleep/Network standby 0.36W

Streaming HD movies    2.32W

Personally I leave my Apple TV running. Why? There's no moving parts, needs to be online to auto-update and goes in to a 'standby' mode by default anyhow to save energy.

...and what happens, when you STOP streaming, before you change to ‘normal tv’?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

There is a tv - and there is a BV.

Then the AppleTV will go into standby within the specified timeframe. I can do that, but my wife will just change directly to normal tv Smile.

Thank you all for your feedback.

Given the low power consumption during streaming I will just live with it.
