Hi Guys, has anybody hear tried BeoPlay S3? I know most of you Guys don't need that but I was very impressed by it this weekend. I was in my local RadioShack Store and I saw the S3 on display and it was out of my believe to see Bang & Olufsen in RadioShack!! I said wait a minute, because I couldn't believe what I was seeing so in due of that I bought one just to try it in curiosity seek. Even though, I've all the Good Stuff but just to believe, I tried it with my iPhone and right there and then it blew me away. The Sound that was coming from that little thing with that Price was amazing to me. I even went back there to buy four more just to give it to friends who can't afford Bang and Olufsen and splendid!!! They all love it. I'm so glad Bang and Olufsen made that little thing with a very good sound, I mean this will bring more people who never thought they will ever own B&O to consider it now. Big Props to Bang & Olufsen. Even though I do have BeoLit 15 but I still thinks S3 is really Amazing!!!! Let's keep the Dream Alive!!!

I agree.

S3, especially when paired as a stereo setup, is impressive.

In Finland, you can now get S3 at €149,00. I'm buying an additional pair in white, just because of the ridiculous price. I do not need them, but I may wish to switch my black pair with white S3, with gray or blue covers.

At €298,00 / pair, I'll spend on the choice to just change the color!

It seems white S3 is sold out for the moment...

They might sell out altogether, so for this price, hurry.

PS/EDIT:

They used to sell for €399,-

I got my first pair for 2 x €249,-

Now €149,- a piece.

I've no regrets at €249,- a piece.

Slightly amused by €149,-

Given the trajectory of the pricing:

A) These had very high profit margins at €399,-

B) These still had reasonable margins at €249,-

C) They are selling them now at "cost".

D) They didn't sell, and they are clearing stock at a loss.

Whatever the case, it's a nice speaker(system), with several use-scenarios – and that, at least, is one thing that B&O overlooked in the marketing of S3.

As they are sold now, they devalue B&O, the brand, in my eyes. But people get great speakers for peanuts!
