I have recently purchased the newly launched Sonos One and would like to know if it is possible to play the sound from my Beovision 11 TV through it wirelessly.
I have hearing difficulties so to be able to have a speaker next to me would enable me to turn down the TV volume. (and keep my lovely wife from complaining)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
John
Hi John,
Welcome to Beoworld! If you have other Sonos units around the house (ideally a Sonos Connect) then it is possible to send the TV sound to this and link the Sonos One to this to pick up the sound. However, this is a bit complex, so it may not be worth all the trouble..... (I'm happy to help if you do decide on this option though!)
Would it be simpler to plug a pair of headphones into the TV so that you can listen at any volume you wish without disturbing your wife? You just need this cable to make this work:-
