Hi All,

With the beta version of the BLGW being tested, I was wondering if it was time to think of upgrading from my MLGW to the BLGW.

I have a BS moment as well as a BS5, also 2 BS Essences for music and on the TV side of things a BV7-32 and a V1.

What would I gain? Does the BLGW act like the beomusic app with the beosounds?

Interested to hear your thoughts?

Regards

Toby

Hello

I can only speak for my setup with the Beta software

I can control content and device for my Essence and moment from the Beolink App with no need for BeoMusic App

Feedback from Friends is Beolink is better to use then BeoMusic

My BV7 is controlled by Beolink App but with some slight limitations

I can send commands (light / control) back to BLGW from all devices and interface with my Hue bridge and control all lights including using the overlay on V1

My BLGW controls a Belkin Wemo which turns on and off my electric underfloor mat heater

I can control my V1 from the Beolink App.

Thanks Seanie,

Do you have any pictures of the app in real use?

Thanks

the MLGW can control Philips Hue lights, too. It's not as nice and easy as in the BLGW but it works with every product of B&O that can understand Control & light commands on ML:

- many Beovisions
- Beomaster 5
- Beolab 3500 (with certain software level)
- Beolink active (with certain software level)
- Beolink passive ((with certain software level))
