Very pleased with 3D performance on my new TV.

I know that the glasses work on the shutter principle.  Does Anyone know if another make of same technology glasses will work with the Beovision 11?

The xpand x103 will work. It's the same like the original b&o but much cheaper!

I got the BV11 46 to replace my link room BV7 32 MK IV. Didn't get the 3D glass as I thought 3D wouldn't look very good on a 46" screen. Are you on 55" ?

I bought the 46 on the motorised stand.  3D v good so far.  Quality of sports coverage is a little mixed depending on the camera height.  May be it's the weight of the cameras, but some of the positions are lower than those of the 2D normally used, which gives a manager's eye view!! Overall pleased.

There are (at least) 2 types of active shutter glasses - IR and RF. I believe BV11 ueses IR, but it would be great if someone could confirm. The cheapest "guest" glasses for IR 3D are the Playstation glasses http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-3-3D-Glasses/dp/B00562O8U0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359480839&sr=8-1&keywords=playstation+3+glasses

They can often be had for $20.

The Beovision has IR 3D. But that doesn't mean that every IR Glasses can be used. B&O has implemented the xpand Technology, so the Glasses work 100%. If tried Samsung IR Glasses before but that doesn't work.

The native 3D Mode from a Bluray Is impressive on a 11-46.

Sorry, but I don't think they will work. I tried many others glasses for my Avant 55, but I ended up buying two used (B&O original) pairs from Mr Anders_son. All others I had to send back. Search this forum for 3D glasses, I wrote about it here.

Is it not possible to buy new ones from B&O?
