Hi all..
I just got hold of a nice BC2 that would not play cd/dvd, and the lid acted very funny, and made really bad clonking noises..
Turned out it was the gearbox for the disc lid. One shaft had move to far to the right, and that caused one gearwheel to grind enough to make the clonking noise, and therefore not stopping the motor so the CPU knew the lid was closed.
After fixing the gearbox all was well again.
So now I decided to use this in the living room instead of the BS9000. The DAB radio works much better in my building, than the BS9000 FM.
One question I cannot seem to get a hold of.
When I enter a Play Timer, and select RADIO as source, the manual (and my recollection from when I had one from new 10 years or so ago) tells me that after selecting RADIO, the channel should also be selected. But this does not happen with this one. I can only select RADIO, and no channel anywhere.
Can someone with a BC2 please try to create a RADIO play timer on the BC2 to see if and where the channel selection appears with RADIO as source..
Thank you

Well, it seems that my BC2 has a SW version with exactly this error with missing channel selection on RADIO timer play :)
So will get it updated with the latest SW and then all should be ok ..
